Re: Brushless Motor
Hi Okkaby, I gather this is a generic question regarding DC brushless motors? I did not see a link or image to know exactly what you are reffering to. In any case from all the literature I have read about DC motors, brushed and brushless, you can run them in both fresh and salt water. The key would be to wash out them well after salt water applications if the windings etc are exposed directly to the water. Salt water is obvoiusly more conductive then fresh water and therefore direct exposure can impede their performance. A sealed motor would be the best option in my opinion. With that being said I have seen lots of information out there that states people use them without water proofing.

Thanks Anthony
I ordered some brushless motor today to test them in salt water and see if they will work.

Re: Brushless Motor
Your welcome. I am sure they will work for you. Just remember to flush them out well with fresh water after use.
