Has anyone used a Teensy as a control system? I have worked with it a little and that it is similar to an arduino but was wondering what its limitations were compared to an arduino.

the development environment seems to be the biggest limitation. Unless you have experience developing code for microcontrollers, I'd suggest you start with an arduino. arduinos are a little more expensive, but the cost of the boards is small when you consider the whole environment. there is an enormous wealth of info out there for the arduino. the teensy, not so much.

good luck!
