I have had an interest in this for some time. I am an adult, mid 40's, some disposable income to put into a project, cyber security professional in the defense and private security arena, former military pilot, own a boat, live on the coast and have a high degree of mechanical and technical aptitude.
Seems like a good thing to dink around with, plus the admin let me join and I look forward to it. So here goes...

No specific design in mind. I am collecting lots of data to assist in making that determination. Also, we are in the process of having a lot cleared an home put up, so it will be a 2 or 3 months before I get a workshop going where I can work. In the meantime I can do some things and gather some components.
