On the bench.

Post by ERIEWRECKDIVER »

Well it has been about a year to develop and build my ROV. Everything is now installed and has passed Bench Testing. So as soon as I build the Control Console it will be time for BETA Testing in the water.

It has been a long road and about $500.00, but with the help from everyone, (THANKS EVERYONE) I think I am about ready to start training for my ultimate goal of finding the "Wisconsin" wreck on Lake Erie this summer.

As long as everything works, I am going to drop a target into a local lake and train to hunt for the target. Once I get good at that I really do believe that with the GPS location of the Wisconsin, I will have a lot of fun finding her and video capturing the dive.

But I don't want to get to far ahead of myself. But it is starting to get exciting.

Once again. Thanks everyone. I couldn't have done it without you and the forum.

Looks great... if you find that wreck you have to record your dives.... would love to see that. :)
