Props

I am designing the ROV to goto 100ft. Should i use aluminium props or nylon props? And what difference does it make with either of them?

RC race boats that are turning the prop at high RPM will use an aluminum prop as they are a little stiffer. With our ROV's the motor RPM and ROV speed are slow enough that you can use the cheaper plastic props.

Aluminum are stronger but are also much more expensive then plastic or nylon props. I've never had a problem with any of the plastic ones I use.
