Hello Everyone

Post by ERIEWRECKDIVER »

OK, I design theatre systems. I read all of the time in order to keep up with current technology. I cannot believe the amount of technical knowledge that our members possess. I quite honestly cannot keep up. And I consider myself a GEEK.

I am suggesting that we as a group possess knowledge that may surpass the pros in this field. Which if you think about it we may very well may be going where no one has gone before. Very Exciting.

So I am wondering if maybe we shouldn't get together and face to face share our knowledge and try to break it down so everyone is using the "State of the Art" technology with their ROV's.

It would save time, money and would put everyone on the same page in their projects. 2/3 of the earth is underwater. Lets explore it with the best technology we can put together.

So I suggest that we put all of our best feet forward. If you know something that works very well. Write a paper. Describe it in a manner that everyone can understand. Lets find the BEST WAY to do something. Lighting, Cameras, Control, etc and get everyone on the same page.

Maybe a convention. What do you think? Scott got us all together on the internet. Just think what we can accomplish face to face.

Just a thought.

Hey shaneb,

Just tested my frame today. It went very well. I'm waiting for my props to start vertical testing.

Skype is something I need to get started with but That Is A Great Idea. God I love this forum.

Lets keep in touch. So what are you up to?
