Does anyone know if I can use bilge pumps with ardusub? If so how?
Looking at these https://www.ebay.com/itm/1100GPH-12V-El ... SwrSpemEoV
Bilge with ardusub
Re: Bilge with ardusub
Well, the Pixhawk will put out pwm signals, used to control servos or esc's. You would need a brushed-motor ESC like https://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof-Bru ... 0036.m2109
Then you would still need to modify the bilge pump.
Why not go with a 70mm ducted fan w/brushless motor? Cut off 3 of the 6 blades and you will have something like the BlueRobotics T200 thruster. https://www.ebay.com/itm/70mm-6-Blades- ... 3459337387
The good thing about using brushless motors is they can be run underwater without doing much to them. You don't have to try and seal the shaft like with the bilge pump motors. Of course you'll need a brushless ESC. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bidirectional- ... Swoute~d65

I would really want the brushless.
I just found a really good ebay listing for a pixhawk, a raspberry pi, and 6 bilge pumps for only $75 all new.
