I've been spending way too many hours since my last post here on my ROV project, so I decided to go completely low tech / high tech. I shelved the ROV idea in favour of a much simpler towing camera system, but with the high tech data stuff.
First video is of a drift in my boat to test the GPS positioning system and the second video is of when I finally manage to get my transducer to display the depth data on the video overlay. To say this has taken me ages, is an understatement, but hey ho, that's part of the fun me thinks.
Still messing around with the lighting, IR and halogen Vs white LEDs.
