So I had an Nventivity ROV kitfrom 2006-2007 timeframe, used it untilit broke, and am now here after dusting it off.
I was into the so called dreaded "drones" in a previous life, and prefer the underwater type these days.
Came on here to get some ideas for a gripper arm. I took that basic kit and added a second camera, more lights and a mesh bottom to dredge up some items from the bottom.
Glad to be hear and see the home builts.

Re: New from Pacific NW, USA.
Welcome! Where are you exactly? I am in Bremerton and have used my ROV in the areas of Illahee Park up to Agate Pass Bridge so far. Once I get my new tether done and the ROV running again I hope to hit the deeper water and do some wreck diving.
There are a few of us in Kitsap working on ROVs. I am also involved at the STEM ROV programs at the schools here as well as our county ROV competition.
