Hi,
The problem I have is that there is no room in my cameras WTC for any tilt action, it wasn't designed with tilt-ability in mind so I have to tilt the whole camera WTC. I think I will use brushless motors as well, from what I have read it seems to be a much more simple solution then trying to get servos to work under pressure. Thank you for the input!
Quick thought about using servos under water.
Re: Quick thought about using servos under water.
Maybe you coult still have the servo inside the wtc and uae a magnetic coupling to the outside? Should work but depends on what space you have inside and shape of the wtc
Re: Quick thought about using servos under water.
Good idea but the WTC is made for a cylindrical shaped bullet camera, it's a really tight fit. Perhaps if I disassemble the camera I could make some room but I'm not sure.

I see.
Then it might be easier to do something else.
Have a look at what Open-ROV did here:

Looks like they have put a regular servo inside a specially designed case and filled/compensated it with oil. It's possible to pre-order, but its quite pricey maybe?
Shouldn't be too hard to make something similar?
