I will keep you informed... I put her in the pool recently ill upload some pics and videos of that soon. hopefully next weekend (weather permitting) ill be taking her on the boat offshore to see what shes really capable of.

hey Duncan, I used formulas involving DE failure analysis for a cylindrical pressure vessel of pvc sch40 and its unbelievable the pressure that it can withstand. I am pretty sure that I will have a leak in the thru-hull wiring or acrylic dome before id ever have a problem with the pvc failing.

thank, all the electronics are housed in a 4" pvc thats completely sealed, and has a threaded cap in the back to remove the electronics tray. when looking at the back of it, you will see the sides and "wings" are completely open and allows water to circulate therefor avoiding any hydr...

the batteries are just regular rechargeable 9 volt batteries from some old icom handheld radios I had laying around. I am using two of them in parallel for longer run time. and the lights are cheap leds I found at a local auto store.
