Hi there,
I am using this 800kv brushless motor in my ROV. http://goo.gl/3SYsCY
Now I am down to choosing the propellers.
I am using a vectored thrusters setup with four thrusters as shown in the Fig and another two for vertical thrust.
So it may be necessary that the propellers produce nearly equal thrust forward and reverse.
I watched this video of propeller testing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QJLIKNrKxI
According to it, the Delta-V15 is a good candidate for my ROV. http://goo.gl/Xtoh9r
But some people are implying that many blade propellers aren't as good as three blade ones.
And OpenROV which first used the Delta-V15 props changed their decision in later versions because of efficiency.
So I'd like to use Delta-V15 props because of the video and their nearly equal thrust for forward and reverse but I am also thinking about thrust efficiency. Actually it is confusing for me to read propeller test results from different sources.
What do you think? What are your recommendations?

I am planning to use these props.

What do you think?
What propeller adapter should I use for 3mm dia motor shaft with these props?

Re: Propeller Choice
Have you seen Steve's test data for the Robbe props?

They had pretty similar forward and reverse numbers
