Battery choice

Hi I have built the body of my rov I will post some pictures next week after I finish a few little jobs. My question is as follows I have 100mm tubes for electrics the back one is for ESCs and batteries for the motors.
The front tube is for the camera, lights and arduino with associated electronics. I plan to have another battery in this tube for everything contained in it.
Weight will not be a problem as I will need to add balast. The motors are brusless 1200kva outrunners.
Here is what I want to know?
1. What battery choice do you recommend as long as they fit in the tube I do not mind size but would like duration of running time around 30 mins or more.
2. For the motors which option is best one battery for all ESCs and motors or one for each ESC and motor. So three in total in back tube.
Plus any other advice you can suggests
Thank you
Al

Hi Al; I would use LiPo batteries in the 5000ma range. You will need to match your battery size to the motors you are going to use.... i.e. 2 cell or 3 cell (2S = 7.4 volt 3S = 11.1 volts.

Your longest run time will be with one battery per motor, but you will have added cost of the additional batteries.

Good luck. Look forward to see your photos.
