Hey derelict,
I just got my props from Tower Hobbies. They fit great. THANKS SO MUCH.
So now I have ordered my Left Hand Props to offset my RH thruster.
So I will start my vertical dive tests sometime this week.
Payday is on the 22nd and I will be ordering the next two pump cartridges.
Then I save money for the camera and USB stuff.
Look out Koi Fish. Soon you will be on ROV Camera.
Once again. Thanks everyone. I am having a blast.

Re: Thrusters and Props
Glad to hear it!
Those props work pretty well when you consider the price and zero effort needed to install them. I'm sure there are better props out there, but I couldn't find any that bolt on without a custom adapter.
I have a hobbytown usa near me that stocks them, so I didn't have to pay for shipping and wait. However they usually only have a one set at time, so it took a few trips to get the quantity I needed.
Have fun!

Re: Thrusters and Props
Hey derelicte,
So I have ordered the LH props so I have them when I can afford the other two motors.
You are so right. Installation was a no brainer.
I went out and got all of the stuff I need to start vertical testing. Switch, job box, fuse holder and 5 amp fuses per your suggestion. And for a cheap testing tether I got a 100' 16/3 extension cord. I have alligator clips to hook up to my truck battery. So I just need to put it together.
I'm wondering if I should get a 120 VAC to 12 VDC 5 amp transformer to make testing easier. VS i.e. hooking it up to my battery. Any thoughts?
My Koi fish are in for a fright. LOL

Re: Thrusters and Props
I'd start with a battery. it is safer and more portable unless you have an outlet near your pond.

Re: Thrusters and Props
Just had a very successful vertical testing. Better that 60 feet per minute decent rate. Plus I am still a little more positive buoyant than I want to be. When I reversed the motor it shot to the surface and wanted to fly.
I am very happy with the Rule 500 GPH cartridges and the props from Tower Hobbies.
My LH props are on their way. I going to order two more Rule 500's and start my relay control and lights.
Man am I having fun building this. THANKS EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN HELPING.
I couldn't have done it without you.
