Just ordered a 500 GPM "Rule" Bilge Pump Motor Cartridge from Amazon/The Price Pros for $24.99 including shipping and handling. I want to experiment with thrusters. Does anyone have a good supplier for props? PLUS any suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks,

Thanks again. When I get my pump cartridge, I will have a better idea about shaft size and then I can start to experiment with props.

derelicte,
As my daughters would put it. YOU ARE THE BOMB.
I love why you built a ROV. Way to much fun. I bet your daughter thinks her daddy is the coolest.
Thanks for your info on props.

So I just got my Rule 500 gph cartridge. Started to slide the impeller off. It popped off and scared the He__ out of me. LOL. So now I can measure the shaft diameter. The shaft is flat on one side like Steve said, so a set screw should work just fine. I plan on getting the props that were suggested RH and LH for duel drive motors for forward and reverse propulsion. But I just can't wait so I will be going to a local hobby shop tomorrow to see what they have for props.
But here is a big question. My motor says that it should have a 2.5 amp fuse. So seeing that I want to Reverse this motor. Do I put a fuse on both leads? One for Forward and one for Reverse??????
Thanks for any input.
