Homebuilt ROVs Forum

Hello everyone,
My name is Cliff and I live in Oregon. Like many of you I am also working on an ROV project. I am building this ROV to retrieve a watch that was lost in the water at 200'.
I have just started researching on how I want to do all the control and video communications. Please see my other post for topic related things. Thanks for your support and input.

Cliff, that's pretty funny. I have a similar motive... back in my early 20's I was screwing around with my buddy on a canoe and intentionally flipped us. Didn't think about the $300 glasses on his head that ended up at the bottom of the lake. Started working on an ROV to retrieve it, but eventually resorted to my buddy scuba diving for me. He found a shopping cart, some shoes, someone else's glasses, but never did find my buddy's stupid glasses and it was only 20' of water...
