Homebuilt ROVs Forum

Hi guys!
I'm a 21 year old student from Stockholm, Sweden.
I've been thinking about building a ROV for quite some time now. Yesterday I bought a kit (Velleman 8055) and finished it up. Its for motor control. Today I bought camera+25m(80ft) BNC-cable+a device so that I can get live feed from camera to PC via USB.

I dont know for sure how many thrusters I will be using.
I'll post my progress in the Projects section later.

Hello Fogel and welcome to the forum. I Will be watching your progress. My rov is almost finished. Oh yeah I almost forgot, I now have a similar device to your plexgear. I got the idea from your rov control board post. It was only twenty bucks now I will be able to record the video from my rov as well. Thanks for the idea.
