Hello everyone!

I'm currently studying aquaculture here in Norway, a country which investing heavily into the offshore sector.
Seeing the potential advantages of using a ROV instead of the incredibly expensive divers the companies currently use for simple routine tasks around the offshore pens, I'm currently trying to get ahold of a ROV.

I was thinking about getting an open ROV, since it seems to fit the bill quite nicely for simple scouting. But I heard that there are some issues with the thrusters corroding in salt-water, which of course is a problem.
Then I saw that Blue Robotic's thrusters might be a good solution to this problem, since they are made from non corrodable material.

So my question is: Do you guys think that an Open ROV fitted with Blue Robotic thrusters would be a good starting point for this kind of work?

Best regards,
