3D Printed Thruster Housing

Finally got my custom designed thruster housing completed!

Had a friend print them out on his home built 3D printer.

They took 6hrs each to print, but they look AMAZING!

Looks great!

How thick are they and how strong are they? I've long thought about buying a 3D printer but didn't want to waste the money if they could not build pressure tollerant pieces (down to at least 200').

Looks nice. I am wondering why you left so much clearance between the prop and the shroud? Don't you loose a lot of power that way?

not sure how thrust will be affected, haven't had a chance to get these wet yet.

the design was suppose to be a bit tighter, but for some reason I thought I had 55mm props, when in fact I have 50... other then that, no real reason...

Ok Ryan I need 4 of those NOW!!! LOL Actually can you get the CAD file, .obj, .stl or whatever file was used to create that? I know a guy not far from me that has a 3D printer and makes custom RC parts for FPVers. I would love to get them printed out.
