Hi KR2_Diving,
You might want to reconsider using I2C to control your T100 Thrusters.
I2C is not designed for transmission over distances greater that maybe pwb to pwb or IC to IC.
We have had a lot of trouble with I2C components on long cables locking up when used on the 3DR Pixhawk I2C bus.
I know that you will loose ESC performance data using PWM, but you might save yourself a lot of headaches going with PWM

I had considered this... I was going to give it a shot either way to see what I could achieve... I am really hoping it will work solid enough to run on I2C... mind you... the code scares me less with PWM... No firmware flashing to address etc...

No, it is not a ham radio license number.
It used to be SSBN626 which was the ship's number of the Polaris Fleet Ballistic Missile Nuclear Submarine Daniel Webster.
I served on her Blue crew with the reactor engineering team hence the SSBN626B.
However, I believe that she is the only surviving Polaris Fleet Ballistic Missile Nuclear Submarine left and she is used as a stationary training submarine for submarine reactor operators. Hence the SSN626 because she is no longer a Ballistic Missile carrying submarine.
She had the distinction of being the only Fleet Ballistic Missile Nuclear Submarine to be launched with bow planes instead of sail planes.

Hey guys,i'm dredging this thread up again

After some thought, i decided to try an alternative ESC,

This one

And with my current setup it works flawlessly.

I don't think the 1/18 scale ESC's are suitable for the motors we have been trying to use.

My best guess is that the inrush of current on startup is too much for the 1/18 ESC's,

this ESC has almost the same features. i'm ordering more

Thanks for the update!

I have heard these ESCs work VERY well! If you look around the forum, BikerBones used them with very successful results.

Be sure to keep us posted as to how they work out for you.
(Especially interested in the settings and how they affect performance!)
