I have a couple of quick questions.
First what CAD program are you using? The renders and the ROV model look great.
And second, you said that you are planning to 3D print your camera housing? What plans do you have in place to ensure that it is waterproof? Or do you just plan on making it as the shell, and then potting the entire camera into epoxy. Thanks!

DavidF: Cool! Please share some pictures and results if you can!
mulze32: I use Autodesk Inventor 2014. And you are correct about my camera. First I will use silicone to seal the lens so that no epoxy will get inside the lens. The printed housing will act more as a mold for the epoxy. I also have 8mm lexan glass that will be epoxied to the front of the camera. An O-ring will be used to keep the epoxy from getting between the camera lens and the lexan outer lens. At least this is my plan. It will be a 100% permanent solution, so no service can be done to the camera after the epoxy has cured. If it will hold up, only time will tell

Having trouble locating the 500Kv motor, all I can find is 750 Kv. I guess it will work out ok...

Is that lost wax casting?
I have been making progress on my Rice Nozzle. I am getting 2lbs of thrust from 5.5A using a 55mm 3 blade prop.

Interesting results TigerShark. Do you have any pictures of the propeller/nozzle combo you use?

Also, did you post it in the 'draw, thrust and components' thread that we've got going up in the 'thrusters' section? 2lbs at 5.5 is a lot.
