Yes you should be fine with that. I've been reading about guys going down 100+ feet with frames made from 1" tubing. I just finished cutting 60+ feet of 1/2", 3/4" and 1" pipe with a steak knife (broke my saw and never replaced it) so my plan better work lol

Well, since the frames in these designs are flooded, you can go to the mariana trench with the frame itself. The rest though, not so much.

Yes ideally you'd make a flooded frame. I didn't think about that lol.

I also made a new chamber that I can use to treat my 3d printed parts with acetone vapor. This process gives the parts a smooth surface and also a bit more flexibility and strength.

That's a pretty awesome finish, I was reading about that acetone trick and it looks like it works great. I'm going to have to get some ABS and give it a try myself soon. Thanks for posting this....

How long do you leave them in the acetone? I imagine not too long.

Somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes on that piece.

Does anyone know of a very flexible/soft hose type? Around 1" size or bigger.
Needed to be used for pressure compensation of my battery and electronics compartment.

That's a really good idea actually!
Although the rubber don't like sea water that good, it should be quite ok as long as it is cleaned with fresh water after every use, as everything else.
