No problem
i've not tried the board myself, but ive bought components from futurlec before, they are ok. but they are not that concerned about static electricity protection. all the components i bought came in clear small ziplock bags..

Edit: remember that the board is for ttl voltages, if youre connecting to a normal serial port you will need this as well: http://www.futurlec.com/Mini_RS232_TTL_5V.shtml
unless you use a usb-ttl serial port or other appliance topside with ttl signaling.

Hope your build is going well! Just curious, how did you mount your pressure sensor? From what I understand, the sensor face has to be exposed to the water, but the circuitry can not be? Any comments or pics would be appreciated!

So if talking between two arduinos with each having the Futurlec RS422 board betweeen them, there is no need for the additional RS232/TTL converter, correct? That is only for say a PC serial port connection, correct?

just connect pin 0 and 1 on a Arduino straight to the rs422 board. these are 5v ttl signal.
real comports on computers, usb-serial adapter etc would need the extra rs232/ttl conversion.
"real" rs232 can have up to +/- 15V signals! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RS-232
