Re: Scout Mk1
Heat wise I think I will be fine, I would advise against water cooling unless you were just going to have a internal closed loop filled with mineral oil. I'm actually an electronics technician so I quite understand how these low resistance FETS work I was just being comical, I've worked on gear that...

Re: Scout Mk1
New update for today: I cut the aft pressure hull bulkhead out of carbon fiber plate. Still learning tolerance measurements for CNCing, my machines could be a couple of blonde ones off. So when CAD says the hole is going to be 12.67mm the machine gives me 12.44 after the cut. Still a work in progres...

Re: My "MINIRAY" Rov.
Also I see that you used the .250 inch tubing for your motor wires. How well did that work? When I'm done with my current build Scout I'm planning on making a 1000 foot diveable ROV. I want to do something similar.

Re: Scout Mk1
Took a break last week, had to wait for some parts to come in. Tried to cast the flange a few days ago but ended up running into a time crunch and wasn’t able to pour. I was able to CNC out the viewing port out of .25 inch lexan after a few mistakes. I am currently in the process of making the water...
