Re: Complete code PS2 controller
Both lights Tx/Rx on the master and slave Nano's should be flashing to show that it is sending and receiving. But the LED's connected to the Master actually operate independent of the slave. Their code is only written to the master nano, so will operate on/off regardless of comms between the master ...

Re: Complete code PS2 controller
Hi, So here is the amended techmonkey code I have used. Basically I got rid of the cam on/off functions as I run a $20 ebay dash cam with continuous feed, and factored in a flood sensors, laser measure, white light and blue light. I use arduino Nanos set into Nano breakout boards, which essentially ...

Re: Complete code PS2 controller
4 days is not bad, however you must persist. I couldn't even read code before I started this project. My build has been in the making for a couple of years now. Finally got a prototype that is usable

Re: Complete code PS2 controller
Do any of the functions work? ie LEDs lighting up when you press buttons on the PS2 controller etc. If the code compiles fine, double check all your connections / ports with the diagram and code. If you get no response from the PS2 controller at all, it may be that the controller is the issue. I had...

Re: ROV Nudibranch footage
The lasers are set at 50mm apart as a guide to estimate size of objects. I haven't really made use of them or my blue and ultravoilet led lights yet.

ROV Nudibranch footage
This is combined footage from yesterday and back in April. This in in the Tamar River in Tasmania approx. 25-40m deep. The aim was to put the ROV down on the slack of the high tide and drive around a bit. But the tide predictions and what is actually going on don't match up and so both sessions ende...

Re: You guys need to work harder!!
Planning to drop the ROV down 50m next Tuesday 30th. Batteries haven't showed up, China mail very slow to Australia but will make do with what I've got.
Hopefully weather holds out.
Stay tuned....

Re: You guys need to work harder!!
Yep it's winter now here where I am I'm waiting on some more Lipo batteries to arrive and a little bit of tinkering then try and pick a good day and the slack on the high tide and drop her into a 50m hole in the local river. Navionics charts show some nice steep walls which I want to check out. Migh...

Re: ROV Nudibranch - workings
Hi there,
The RS485 modules are used between the topside Arduino and the Arduino inside the ROV. It is used for the controls and sensors and the video feed is separate. Here is the thread of how I connected it viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1968.
