Re: Cheap RC control tested OK :)

Thanks Ken, (Marius: Sorry for going off topic) The reason I bought these ESC's was that they were supposed to go in reverse (info on ebay). The seller was not able to tell how, he suggested that I should switch the cables :? I have considered to buy the same ESC's that Nick use. Do you thin...

Re: Cheap RC control tested OK :)

It has a trainer port on the back if that's what you're asking, it is different in that it has 9 (really only 8) channels. Ok, thanks. I'm testing out different solutions to control my ROV. I have tried to use the PS2>UNO3>serial>UNO3>ESC>Brushless system with no success. I can't get the motors go ...

Re: Cheap RC control tested OK :)

Does the Turnigy 9x have the same feature as the HobbyKing HK6S? In other words, can you connect it to the rmilec receiver via cable?

Re: Cheap RC control tested OK :)

Hi Marius,

The RC controller has 6 channels. I wonder if that is enough to control 3 thrusters with reverse AND pan/tilt servos for a camera?

Re: Pan/Tilt that uses axes consistent with the dome radius?

Hi Kale, I hear you. I'm working on a tilt-only system for mine that will work with a Raspberry Pi camera. The actuator is the same micro servo listed in yours, but it's not integrated into the mount, so it can pivot more 'tightly' if you know what I mean. And since I'm custom designing it I can pi...

[Solved] Pan/Tilt with axes consistent with the dome radius?

I purchased a pan/tilt camera platform and I found out that the centre of the pan and tilt axes are not aligned. In other words, the camera lens will not point perpendicular to the dome in all directions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130995735488?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 I w...
