So if I understand this correctly, the board will draw exactly the 300mA it needs, regardless of the source? (providing the source can provide that much current, eg. the car battery)

Velleman K8023 Power Supply
Hi all,
According to the Velleman K8023 manual, it needs 12V/300mA to operate. I was just wondering what kind of power source I should use to power that. Would a 12V car battery fry it? I'm just worried about supplying too much current and breaking it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
