Hi ltdcruze, What failed with your ROV? Exactly what part are you thinking about vaccum forming? What material? PolyCarbonate, Acrylic, ABS, PVC? Post some more details on what happened ans what your thinking about building and maybe someone on here can help or offer alternative choices. Anthony :D

I am nearly going out of my mind trying to figure out what to do for controls. GGGEEEZZZ I can go the simple route and use DPDT momentary switches and relays etc. Too easy really. I want to use esc's, brushless motors and use a Cytron PS2I/O converter board but no where can I find information as to ...

I read in another thread someone experienced the same issue with melting wax as some of the electronic components heated up. Sorry to hear about your troubles. :( I am not sure what would be the best way to seal things up but I have been considering plasti kote or plasti dip, like the stuff you use ...

Can't really answer your question with experience but as an opinion a tapered threaded plug would be my choice.
