Re: What are you using for onboard batteries?
What I am mainly concerned with is a limited run time. At most I will be running 2 motors at the same time plus 2 - 50W led lights. The camera draws so little current its not worth mentioning. Lighting load including a dc to dc converter to get my 30V forward voltage for the led's is Max 4 Amp.

Re: Exposed electrics in fresh water?
Hi there, lots of guys run 12vdc, 24vdc and 36vdc systems ie motors in both fresh and salt water without water proofing and have no issues with shorting.

Re: argh voltage problem
I considered the vellamn k8023 setup initially. I did a lot of research on them and contacted the company before I went that route. Number one issue is the boards working voltage being 12vdc - 15vdc. But with your 30m cable and the guage you should be ok for voltage. Secondly the manual states teste...

What are you using for onboard batteries?
Hi all, I am trying to make an informed decision on what to use for onboard batteries. I will not use lead acid for obvious reasons (explosive gasses and weight) and I am leaning towards Lithium packs for small size and weight reasons. I guess my question is how many 12v packs will be adequate to ru...

Custom Camera Domes to your specifications.
I wasn't too keen on using the stock camera dome I had. It seemed so thin and flimsy. After a lot of researching to locate a supplier for custom domes I found just the place. The company " EZ Tops " custom built a dome to my specs. Clear acrylic 3/16" thick, 6 1/2" diameter, 3 1/...

Re: ROV Asia not MIA
Never asked about the past, was hoping for something good in to happen. I think he has a fantastic set up and the price was more than reasonable. Hope it all comes together for ROV Asia and past and future customers will all be satisfied.
