Pneumatic Line in tether

I was thinking that i may want to have the manipulator system on my rov to be pneumatic. An on board air supply is out of the question... so i would need a direct airline down the tether. Vinyl tubing should handle the kind of pressure i want just fine (or is there something more flexible i could us...

Re: underwater enclosure

otter box sounds good, but they don't have one big enough. I guess i will bite the bullet and spend a little extra on a pelican case. Although i cant find a depth rating on them... it says waterproof and crush proof but does anyone know how deep you can safely go with them?

Re: Looking for switch to be used under water?

what reed switches are there out there that can take up to 10 amps (im being very generous) and is CLOSED without the presence of a magnet? I don't want 5 magnets sticking to my box while i m under water... Rather have them on when they are on land.

Re: best way to hold cables together/Join tether?

I was actually looking at this:

not the wrap around. Would this be utterly impossible to do over 100' worth of tether?

underwater enclosure

I have been looking for an underwater enclosure and cannot seem to find one. It has to house a whole bunch of electronics on the ROV and have exit holes for wires and whatnot. So preferably plastic. I want to go down about 100' ....150' at the most. What is there that would fit my needs?

Thanks.

Looking for switch to be used under water?

I am using ESC's to control my thrusters, and as some of you may know, you have to turn on the transmitter before you turn on the esc. I want to be able to put a switch inline with the ESC/Thruster power input but i want it to be on the outside of the rov. Everything is going to be in a nice sealed ...

Re: leak detection

Found this and i guess it would be the easiest and most straight forward way to do a leak detector. Instead of a buzzer... have it as an input to the control system? How would one do that? Well let me just show you the video:
