One question, are the two angled pieces on the sides going to have floats attached? Or does it float without them?

What should we call a housing that contains most\all of your non-waterproof components like I'm planning for my ROV?

That's the idea. We're planning on having eight valves mounted on the hull with tubing running to each of the corners ending in a nozzle, that way we have less wire floating around.
