Really amazing. What kind of fiber cable are you using? Is it floating?
I’m just in search for floating fiber cable with some mechanical endurance, water and pressure resistance and friendly price… :D
If you have some suggestion, it will be great.

thx for your compliments 8-)
for body i use 10 layers of glass fibre and epoxy resin. For modelling i use epoxy resin with micro-glassballons.

The fiberoptic is a standard cable. i've searched for neutral bouyant cable but found nothing payable. So i have installed balls of epoxy resin and glassballons to neutral cable bouyancy too.

For videocontrol i will test a new 3D-solution with 3D-videoglasses and real-3d videostreaming

Rover3D ist my second ROV. in 2010 i was with my first ROV (ROVERII) for a documentation film about sunfish(mola) at Elba(Italy). ROVER1 was only prototyp.

Sorry for my bad english... school is a long time ago ;-)

ROVER3D LxBxH is 120x35x20cm
Vertikal Thruster diameter is 16cm
The aquadynamic design is for regional use in lakes with many plants. So nothing can be caught by the body.
In addition ROVER3d can pitch till 180° vertikal in the water and roll 360°.

Nice work ROVER3D, I like the video googles over a screen. Going to rob some of the FPV gear I just got to use for both hobbies.

Only the electronic equitment and the material for the body and else about 7000€. With all the development, burned electronics and my time i think about 30.000€ in the last 7 Years.
