Hello from URI Ocean Engineering and E/V Nautilus

Post by OCE Student »

Hey Guys;
I am an Ocean Engineering student at the University of Rhode Island and I spent last summer as an Argus Pilot on-board the E/V Nautilus working for Robert Ballard and the Institute for Exploration

I have experience with both the small seabotix vehicles and the larger Hercules Argus system and have taken a class in ROV design. As part of my curriculum my sophomore year I constructed a small AUV to navigate an obstacle course in a pool.
I am new the world of Homebuilt ROVs and hope that I can contribute to the forum and to construct my own vehicle as soon as time and money allows for the project.
