A good set of numbered drills are extremely helpful. Especially when drilling smaller close tolerance holes. You can pick up a 1 - 60 numbered drill set from your local home improvement store or Harbor Freight.
A digital dial caliper is also handy. It allows you to measure a wire, connector, fastener and then get the correct numbered dill.
