Car lights under water?

Howdy,
Looking at different solutions for light and stumbled upon something interesting. Car fog lights. Is there a reason why I can't find any threads about them?
Example I found on dealextreme:
40$
2x 1080 lumens
IP68
LEDs
12v
Sounds to me like a cheap and easy solution for us beginners. Is there a reason people don't use lamps like these?
