Hey All
So If I hook the camera system up to the same battery that the whole ROV is running, will there be any problems, like interference?
Thanks

In my experience, yes you will get interference on camera every time your thrusters turn on and off if you are powering them from the same power source (a lot might depend on how its wired and what the make up of your tether is though) I normally just run my cameras of a separate battery pack (8 AA batteries) and haven't had any problems.

Or if space is an issue, you can go to RadioShack and pick up a 10-ohm resistor and a 100 Microfarad capacitor and make this circuit:
IT should filter most of the motor noise.

Hey Thanks Joe!!!
I was having the same problem and i have no room for a separate battery pack. I just put the resistor and cap in. Its works like a charm
Thanks for the tip
I will always love a $3.00 fix

Great! Thanks for the feedback too.

I asked in an electronic store here at home and they gave me a DC-DC converter 5 Volts, put it between the power supply and cam, this should deliver 'clean' 5V and the Problem is solved. Costs about 15$..
