An idea just occurred to me and I thought I'd bounce it off the more experienced. Has anyone tried using ammo cans as water proof housing? Harbor Freight sells both plastic and metal versions for pretty cheap, of the two metal no doubt would be the most reliable but I wonder about the weight.
Edit: Just watched a YouTube video of someone tesing ammo cans in a pool down to about 5' and the plastic can clearly doesn't cut it, it began to leak badly at just 3' while the metal didn't leak at all.
