For my intended application, I need to extend and retract up to 300 feet of wire or line, bearing about 5lb of payload at the end. This is, in my case, for a remotely deployable anchor.
The question I have is whether anyone can recommend a windlass or winch setup that is waterproof for surface use or (better) submersible.
