X wing ROV

Post by jscott83 »

Ok I'm not a star wars person more of a Trekkie (lol as I sit here watching Star Trek )but I liked the design.

Here's what I've slowly been working on for about a year, I did say slowly.

Here's the first public pictured

Comments welcome be gentle with a newbie

2 lights on top, camera in the middle

Thank you,

Wow. Those look like some hefty lights. How will you power this? On-board battery or over the tether?

They are 12v led 700 lumens, I have them on a dimmer switch. I'm powering them through a tether.
Here's the lights and my controller with dimmer.

Now to see if it floats and sinks.
Had to build my own tub big enough to test it.
