Very new!

Hi,

I eventually want to build an underwater ROV, but for now, that is way too complicated/out of my league. I'm planning on buying Build Your Own Underwater Robot and Other Wet Projects and having a look through there, but I was just wondering if there's any other links to projects I can start off with (any robotics etc) that will me learn some basics so I can better myself to be able to make an ROV

Does anyone live in South Florida?

I have a 25' dive boat I use regularly. Would like to meet with someone who has an ROV, and especially good with card computers.
