started first rov build

ok so i have looked at about every post on the site - aquired boxes of parts - time to start
i had a hard time finding something i could use for the front sub window - had to be flush - flat - thick enough to take screws and gasket material - big enough for gopro inside
here is what i came up with
flat 1/8 rubber gasket material
6 inch sched 40 pvc - 6 inch pvc sewer drain pipe ( it has a slightly different size and much thinner ) 6x4 reducing bushing - sewer to reg pvc adapter bushing
took 6x4 reducer and cut off part of ring untill almost flush then sand untill flat
glued 6 inch pvc sched 40 to sewer reducer bushing then cut and glued in a piece of roughly 6 in sewer pipe - then glued on 6x4 reducing bushing to sewer pipe - this brought both reducer bushings end to end with the small section of sewer pipe glued inside -
i will then drill holes around lip of bushing and in plexiglass and custom cut gasket material in a ring to fit
the surface i created is plenty wide - thick - and should work great
more to come soon - next i need to program arduino for xbox controller and test motors
