Hi, hello and thanks for having me! Recently at work, I was punted a task and given two options to resolve it.
Task: Inspect our fire water storage tank without draining it.
Options: Hire an inspection certified diver once every 3 years or build some kind of submersible inspection bot with our corperate funding... I think we all know what the right answer is here. I seriously spent the next 24 hours needing a pillow to scream into from the awesomeness of the assignment! I'll present my target goals and plans in a separate thread.
I am an obsessive tinkerer (my last project was making my sister's Rapunzel's cosplay hair glow (I used 77' of LED stripping and an LED dimmer switch) and a 4 channel remote control lizard puppet (Pascal) to sit on her shoulder but I have zero ROV experience, so I come to pick brains and take names.
