Simple ROV tether question

Hey guys,
I had started building a ROV with relays and a joystick and 3 bilge pump motors and got to the wax filling part. After I poured all the wax I lost full reverse in every direction. I'm not sure I want to trouble shoot that mess.
If I go the 3 switch route I will undo my 100ft tether and start off with my 12ga wire and I will still need 2 more 14 or 16ga wires for the motors and one more 18 or 20ga wire to power my camera.
Does that sound right?
