I actually love it. It makes sugru look like play doh!

Any idea of the shore hardness? We'd be looking at 70 ish for gaskets. Though for claw grippers, bump strips etc it looks the dogs danglies

Got some details from the guys over at Versimold.
Our Versimold product (once cured) has a dielectric strength of 400v/mil, shore A hardness is 55-60, density is approximately 1.15 (depending on color), and tensile strength of 9 MPa.
Just for comparison sake, I have compared Versimold to Sugru to PVC (wire insulation).

Code: Select all

Products at a Glance
                                Versimold Sugru PVC (wire insulation)
Dielectric Strength - 15.7kv/mm 15.6 25kV/mm
Volume Resistivity (Ohm)- n/a 10^14 10^14
Shore A Hardness - 55-60 70 70-95
Density (g/cm^3) - 1.15 1.3 ~1.4
Tensile Strength (MPa) - 9 1.89 ~20
So there you have it!

Are there any other products out there similar to this?
