I'm currently working on trying to autonomously control an ROV. I built the ROV using a design from this site. I think using an arduino, motor shield and Parallax PING sensors I might be able to "Cut the cord!" sort of speak! I do not have the code worked out yet but It shouldn't be long now! What is a PING sensor? If it is ultrasonic, it will not work under water, unless designed for it (different frequency than air-based units).
