Hello all!
Lately I've been assembling my motors/propellors and wondered whether there is any effect of LH or RH pitch propellors?
On my ROV I have 2 horizontal, forward and turning thrusters, both currently with RH props. Would it work better with a LH prop of the left, and a RH prop on the right? Has anyone tested this?
Props - LH or RH?

I put a LH on one side and RH on the other to reduce torque turning effects. Counter rotating props solve this.

I agree and it doesn't matter which side you put which on.TigerShark wrote:I put a LH on one side and RH on the other to reduce torque turning effects. Counter rotating props solve this.
As long as they are used together.
Re: Props - LH or RH?
Also, shouldn't the horizontal thrusters spin in opposite directions? I.e. left thruster spins clockwise with a right handed prop and the right thruster spins counter-clockwise with a left handed prop.
