Hello!
I've searched many forums and topics to understand the biggest problems with controller boards. I've been found out that outdoor durability, cellular connectivity and battery life are real pain for some projects.
We have been worked for a while with pocketable size and IP67 classified controller board with inbuild sensors. I believe this board could solve many problems with outdoor durability and size.
Developing work is still ongoing and what we need is your experience to understand the most needed features.

Sounds like quite the undertaking you have on your hands!
I know for the HomebuiltROV community, a very important feature is compatibility with PRESSURE. As we dive, the deeper we go, the more the pressure issue compounds...
Cheap Capacitors are a common culprit leading to failure as they often have internal "air pockets" that do not react well to the pressure.
I have heard that battery packs are another common source of failure... again, with the way the layers are all packed together... sometimes air pockets are created.
IP67 is a great rating to have should we spring a leak and need to get to the surface under control before being totally flooded, but IP67 alone typically does not cover the depths we are all hoping to explore.

We already have solved major problems and executing this device won't be a problem. Discussions for higher IP classification is still ongoing, but I think full waterproofness, in the depth you need, won't be possible without extra cover. And I'm not sure how our pressure sensor will work with extra cover.
