In the main page where Stephen talks about the Dinsmore 1490, he shows the build up on the prototype card with four LEDs, but can someone explain it out for me? My attempt to reverse engineer what is saw was a bit of a fail.

I have read the manufacturer designs, and I am planning on using a basic 8 point LED system with ICs. I would still like to have the four LEDs as he had just to serve as a BITE for the card itself separate from the umbilical for troubleshooting in the future.

Anyway can some one give me a pointer here on just how it was is done?

Solved, a bit of an embarrassing to admit, I had a diode installed backwards. Next step is to get the stand alone eight point system working.
