Arduino PC Control

I'm using an arduino mega to a relay board, ae and I have a spare usb joystick. Does anyone know how to link a usb joystick to a Laptop to an arduino in this order?

I've got a program that will let you send serial signals to an Arduino using an Xbox controller (via laptop). Do you have one of those?
(I can pass you a sample sketch for the Arduino too).
