I want to use two up/down thrusters. Can I connect them together assuming the ESC can deliver the current needed.

Two brushless outrunners parallell on one ESC
Re: Two brushless outrunners parallell on one ESC
I have investigated this myself, but found out that it was a bad idea and would most probably not work or ruin your ESC.
Running two ESC's of the same signal should work though.
Please someone correct med if i'm wrong.

If you angle the two thrusters a bit you can run them opposite directions of each other to get lateral movement (crabbing) of the ROV which will make the use of another ESC more appealing.
